When I met my wife, Ana Kris & fell in love with her, I realized I needed to make some money. 😱
I've created a few things since then.
2016
Sold candy, frozen treats, and more (more than one laughed at us, saying that we would probably get married in 10 years selling that).
I started MG Language Solutions. It sounds fancy, but it was me giving ESL lessons to my neighbors and acquaintances at $2.5 per hour. This was my first "side hustle" because I was working a full-time job doing the same.
When I was sick of ESL teaching (I never liked it), I quit my job, and, with our few savings, Ana Kris and I traveled to Guanajuato, Mexico (our honeymoon place) and bought bags and shoes to resell at our home town - M&K Bags & Shoes was born.
Since our first baby was already on its way & I didn't have a steady income, I felt desperate to find a way to provide for my beloved family. It was then that somehow God guided me to discover Upwork.com
I didn't know it, but something GREAT and MAGIC was starting for my family and me. MateoMelgar.com came to be, and I discovered the path of a global freelancer. If you would like more about my freelance career, please click here.
